How does susuchain.org work?
People donate susucoins to susuchain.org, and susuchain.org maintains an API that supports automatic posting to the Susucoin blockchain using the donations. This methodology allows donating users to support susuchain.org, while end users don't need to understand how Susucoin or blockchain technology works. The susuchain.org hot wallet currently has err SUSU and you can donate susucoins to
err to help maintain "free" archiving for end users via susuchain.org.
Email us if you want to implement the susuchain.org API on your own free-speech oriented website or comment section.
Does it work similarly to Bitcoin / Litecoin wallets?
The Susucoin wallet software can be downloaded and used similarly to Bitcoin or Litecoin QT software wallets. Find more information at
https://susukino.com/.
Do I need to mine Susucoin?
You do not need to mine Susucoin to store messages to the Susuchain via the susuchain.org API. Susucoin is generally mined via
mining pools run by hobbyist or professional miners.
How can I buy Susucoin?
You can buy Susucoin on the exchanges that host Susucoin pairings. Currently only
Faldax has listed Susucoin pairings. Find more information at
https://susukino.com/.
Do you have to sync the entire blockchain to post?
Downloading the Susucoin wallet and syncing the entire Susuchain to your local machine will help to preserve the data posted to the Susuchain. This is achieved by allowing each computer that syncs the entire Susuchain to function as a node, further decentralizing the Susuchain and all of the data stored within it. That said, you do not need to sync the Susuchain to archive data via susuchain.org. You can download the Susucoin wallet and get more information at
https://susukino.com/.
Is this Project Odin?
No. Project Odin is a separate, yet to be announced, project that will help make websites that use it extremely resilient against deplatforming.
I am a programmer, can I help out?
Yes! We need help with porting the Susuchain software to different languages so that more people can adopt Susuchain archiving in their own services and websites. Please
email us for more information.
I’m not a programmer, how can I support Susuchain?
You can support susuchain by:
* Helping spread the word about susucoin.
* Syncing the blockchain on your software wallet.
* Using the susucoin archival features.
* Implementing susuchain archiving to your own website.
* Mining susucoin.
Be creative and use your imagination. The sky is the limit.
What is a Susuchain prefix?
Susuchain prefixes help to sort or filter which website or service the Susuchain post came from. Prefixes provide a general idea as to where the data might have initially come from.
What is AAR?
AAR stands for "Approximate Archive Requests". As people donate susucoins to the susuchain.org project, there is an automatic calculation that takes place which divides the total susucoins in the project wallet by the average cost to store a message. The result is an approximate number of messages that the project is able to support, based on the current amount of coins in the wallet.
What about illegal messages posted to the Susuchain?
Please report any illegal messages to
[email protected] and we will remove them from susuchain.org.
